About Health and Wellbeing
Exercise is a core treatment for people with arthritis.
As part of the charity's health and wellbeing services, we provide a range of different activities to improve your quality of life.
Hydrotherapy and Yoga are for CLASH 2012 members and cost £3.00 per session
Hydrotherapy sessions are held every Thursday at the Leicester General Hospital Hydrotherapy Pool: 10.05am – 10.35, 10.35am – 11.05am & 11.40am – 12.10pm. Hydrotherapy can improve strength and general fitness in people with various types of arthritis.
Sessions are supported by 1 lifeguard. Stella Bowley/Gail O'Byrne, Project Worker/s, will make contact once the forms below have been completed and returned to Dock 218:
Yoga sessions are run by Susan Butterworth every Monday during term time at Peepul Enterprise: 11.30am – 12.30 pm. As with other forms of exercise, yoga can increase muscle strength, improve flexibility, enhance respiratory endurance, and promote balance.
